I have been working with Keren for some time to manage my weight and have found this latest 6 week programme to explore the psychological aspects of my relationship with food and myself most beneficial.
I enjoyed working in a small group and in a safely held space really useful, as was the programme material – which was clear, straightforward, explained wonderfully and provided for you to take home and work through at your leisure. From the beginning we set goals to review daily ie: hydration levels with a focus on a gentle accountability by monitoring our progress throughout, with an ongoing online messaging application.
Personally the most beneficial part was exploring my beliefs and attitudes and how they inform my behaviour and challenging them to create new positive habits. Analysing the real issues behind my behaviours of protection and self-criticism.
I also found the hypnosis recordings for all eventualities really useful, especially being able to upload them to my phone and listen to them when convenient, felt these recordings supported and created a new mind-set to not continue to abuse food but to feel calmer, healthier and more in control.
The other aspects of the programme that I particularly enjoyed were the practical kinesiology techniques that Keren included, wonderfully simple yet very practical and powerful.
I continue to recommend Keren’s ‘Slim For Good’ programmes to friends that I know who are looking for a more sustainable way to manage their weight.
