I have to say that I thank my lucky stars that I was accepted into the group in April. I feel so much more healthy and happy.  As the pounds and the dress sizes have dropped away, I have gained so much in confidence and well being – I will never be able to thank you enough as I feel my life turned around after the first meeting and cd!  Exactly the right thing for me at the right time.  When I think back I was in a lot of pain most days taking lots of NSAIDs and paracetamol just to be able to move around, now I can run up the stairs and walk for miles without discomfort. I sleep more soundly now too and enjoy listening to one of your hypnosis CDs each night, I am yet to hear them in their entirety as I am frequently asleep before the end!

I had to buy a new belt and already I’m 3 notches in!  I am at least 3 dress sizes lower than in April!  I am pleased that I’ve stuck with the new regime and I am still enjoying my new healthy food choices.  Previously with other groups I would have strayed from the “diet” by now and pretended to myself I could get back into it but always ended up leaving or moving to a different plan.

She’s brilliant!! Keren’s changed my life, I feel so much better. I feel very fortunate to be one of Keren’s volunteers. I feel energized, happy, positive, healthy, focused and not hungry for the first time in years!  Food ins’t at the forefront of my mind and I’m feeling more like me again.  I feel that something has shifted inside of me and I’m able to pursue a career that i put on the back burner 10 years ago!  It’s amazing how food has controlled my life for most of my life and now for the first time ever, I am in control….. and this is just the beginning of my journey.  Thank you Keren!

Keren Milton’s Slim for Good eating plan and Mind Magic hypnosis is genuine. It is a natural, holistic, real way of addressing your “weight issues” long term. Having tried all sorts of “diets” and done all sorts of different exercise regimes – I feel I have finely found a system that is working and will truly work for good. I was really excited to read the Slim for Good advert in Berrows Journal.  This was just what I was looking for!  7 weeks later I am approaching my first stone of weight loss and I am thrilled.  The eating principles are sensible and easy to follow and I am really enjoying all my food and my new found energy.  We have a fantastic group of people and we keep in touch after the meeting  via Facebook or email and share our successes and challenges.  Keren provides a whole programme of nutritional advice and mind and behaviour techniques such as relaxation CD’s which I think is a winning formula.  I wanted to be fab at 50 and thanks to Keren that goal is becoming a reality!

So here’s how my journey started…

In October 2015 I returned from a holiday in the USA aware of the fact that my weight was steadily going in the wrong direction but accepting that as I was now post-menopausal, this was just something I should expect! After all I was going to the gym regularly, eating all the right things ( so I thought!), so this must just be something I have to accept.

I spoke to Keren Milton about my issues and she introduced me to her Slim for Good programme. I listened but in the back of my mind I was thinking “ok I’ve done diets before, lost a few pounds and quickly put them back again”.  How wrong I was. I embarked on this programme last November when I weighed 11 st 11 lbs. Today I weigh 10st 5lbs. I have not counted a single calorie, I have not weighed or measured any item of food, I have not had embarrassing weekly weigh ins, I have not spent huge amounts of money but most importantly… I have NEVER felt hungry!!

Having now achieved my goal weight, I allow myself flexibility although if I’m honest, I find myself choosing the right foods anyway. My whole mindset has changed and I’m so excited by my achievements and the ease with which I achieved them that I will follow Keren’s “eating philosophy” for ever.  It works. It really does.!
